I’m excited to introduce Bridge Gurus, a new website where you can play bridge online against bots. The idea is to bring playing and learning together in a dedicated home for one of the most rewarding card games.
Playing against bots is available now. Looking ahead, I plan to expand Bridge Gurus with resources to help you learn to play bridge and refine your technique, including a daily bridge problem and other learning material.
Play bridge online against bots
At the heart of Bridge Gurus is the opportunity to play bridge against computer-controlled players. You can spend time at the table without having to organize a group of human opponents.
Bridge combines bidding, partnership, and careful card play. Each deal asks you to make decisions with incomplete information: what your hand is worth, what the auction tells you, and how to turn a plan into tricks. Playing against bots offers a way to spend more time making those decisions.
Whether you already enjoy bridge or are returning after a break, Bridge Gurus gives you a place to play bridge online and reconnect with the game’s tactical challenges.
Play a bridge game and develop your technique
Sometimes you simply want to sit down and play a bridge game without coordinating schedules with other players. That is the starting point for Bridge Gurus: a website focused on the game itself, with bot play available today.
But playing more hands is only one part of improving. Taking a moment to think about a bid, count possible winners, or consider why a line of play worked can turn an ordinary deal into a useful lesson.
That connection between practice and understanding is what I want to build on as the site grows.
Learn to play bridge: what’s planned
My goal is for Bridge Gurus to become more than a place to play. Future resources are planned for people who want to learn to play bridge, as well as players looking to improve their existing technique.
The plans include:
- A daily bridge problem: a focused challenge to encourage regular practice and careful thinking.
- Learning resources: material to help explain the game and support players as they build their understanding.
- Technique-focused content: resources for exploring decisions at the table and developing a more thoughtful approach to play.
These features are planned for the future and are not yet available. For now, the site launches with bridge against bots as its core experience.

Bridge rewards curiosity. There is always another hand to explore, another decision to reconsider, and another opportunity to understand the game a little better.
